Senior Hardware Engineer
Candidate will be hands-on FPGA developer who will work with a small team of 8-10 engineers on a challenging compressed video project for a well-funded startup company in San Diego, CA. Required and desirable:
- Seeking permanent employment onsite at startup company in San Diego.
- Must be team oriented and comfortable in a fast paced startup environment.
- Must be able to design and simulate complex modules to specifications and meet schedules.
- 10+ years RTL design experience - Verilog a must, VHDL a plus.
- Significant design responsibility in a medium/large ASIC/FPGA project a must.
- Experience supporting hardware testing and software integraton in lab a plus.
- System architecture and verification experience a plus.
- Compressed video (MPEG-2 or H.264) experience a strong plus.
- Hardcopy/ASIC experience a plus.
- Written and oral communication skills.
Embedded Software Engineer
Candidate will be hands-on embedded software developer who will work with a small team of 5-6 engineers on a challenging compressed video project for a well-funded startup company in San Diego, CA. Required and desirable:
- C and C++ knowledge necessary.
- RTOS implementation skills necessary.
- Parallel and multi-processor system experience necessary.
- Linux experience necessary.
- Compressed video (MPEG-4 or H.264) experience a strong plus.
- Hardware and embedded software integration skills a strong plus.
- Knowledge of IP networking software development a strong plus.
- Written and oral communication skills.

Candidate will be hands-on software developer who will work with a small team of 10-20 engineers on a challenging compressed video project for a well-funded company in San Diego, CA. Required and desirable skills:
- Digital media delivery and streaming knowledge necessary.
- Digital media file format (MPEG-2 transport, Flash, MP4, MOV, 3GP) knowledge necessary.
- C and C++ knowledge necessary.
- Compressed video (MPEG-4 or H.264) experience necessary.
- Code optimization with MMX, SSE, and Intel libraries necessary.
- Linux development experience necessary.
- TCP/UDP/RTP/Multicast/Unicast knowledge necessary.
- Written and oral communication skills.
